Nokia N900 makes the mobile world go envious
Neha Dutt | Aug 28 2009

If designers think that adding a bit of pink or turning a rough gadget sparkling by embedding some Swarovski crystals makes it girly, they are highly mistaken, as Nokia’s latest launch N900 is going to thrill girls as much as any other being around. The Nokia N900 is based on Maemo 5 software and is equipped with ARM Cortex-A8 processor that makes it more of a mobile computer with 1GB of application memory and open GL ES 2.0 graphics acceleration support. The handset is an outstanding competition for iPhone featuring 3.5-inch resistive WVGA screen with sliding QWERTY keyboard, 5-megapixel camera, 32 GB of memory with micro SD slot for further expansion of up to 48GB, FireFox browser, FM transmitter, cellular radio, GPS and internet connectivity with 10/2 HSPA and WLAN. Priced at $700 + taxes, it will hit the market in October 2009. So, enough of pink and crystals, its time for some real techie stuff.
